Gwynne Yadley M.A.
Biography and History

My name is Gwynne Yadley and I was born and raised in Pasadena, California. I went to Flintridge Preparatory School for high school where I played Girls Varsity Basketball and eventually became the captain of the team. I got my Bachelors of Science in Managerial Economics at The University of California, Davis. Then I moved home to Los Angeles and studied Psychology. I got my Master's in Psychology at Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino, California. I am currently getting licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).

I have worked as a Therapist, Social Worker, Case Manager, and Mentor--sometimes wearing more than one hat at a time. I've worked in a Probation Camp for adolescent boys, I've worked with girls in Residential Treatment Facilities and I have worked in Transitional Housing facility for newly emancipated foster youth 18-21 years of age. I have also been the sole Mental Health Clinician at a Walk-in Homeless Shelter in North Hollywood, where I worked to help the mentally ill adult homeless population.

I decided to found Pasadena Social Services because of the difficulty in finding useful and accurate human services on the web. Whether you yourself are in need of social services or you are looking to help someone else, my site is designed to help you find that information easily and free of charge. The mission of Pasadena Social Services is to provide easy and FREE online access to human services on the web for social workers, parents, teachers, leaders in the community, and all Pasadena area residents. Please keep telling people about my site and bookmark it too. I am constantly striving to make it bigger and better.

I have recently started a new job as the MFT Program Coordinator for The California School of Professional Psychology / Alliant International University (Los Angeles Campus). I am thrilled to work for such a prestigious university and happy to be giving back to the community through my website, PasadenaSocialServices.com. New developments are underway for my website including a new website design, logo, updated social services, job bulletin board, housing bulletin board, therapist search, city calendar, lifestyles section with restaurant reviews, and more. Come back often to see what else we are adding.
